Patience is a virtue! The Spring Lake Laker Baseball has been waiting for a breakout game offensively and they got it! Coopersville scored in the top of the first and that would be their only run of the game as the Lakers would go on to score the next 13 runs in a 13-1 5 inning victory. As Spring Lake celebrated senior night, they got tremendous contributions from all four seniors. Senior Gerrit Lyyski had 3 hits, scored 3 runs and hit his 5th home run of the season. Senior Derrick Paggeot had 3 RBI's and 2 ESPN worthy diving catches in center field. Senior catcher Gabe May had a two run single and caught all 5 innings. And, senior second baseman Carter Ball had a perfect relay throw from right field gunning down a would be Coopersville triple. Ryan Grimm pitched a complete game 3 hitter for his 6th victory of the year with no defeats.
